Dr. Leilania (Lani) Lafrance

Dr. LaFrance earned her Doctor of Veterinary Medicine from the Western College of Veterinary Medicine in 2006. She joined the Fort Saskatchewan Veterinary Clinic Ltd a month after graduating. She became a partner in the clinic with Dr. McCartney in 2010.  Dr. LaFrance took her pre-veterinary medicine studies at the University of Alberta where she graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Agriculture majoring in Animal Science. She lives in Lamont County with her husband, 2 children and english pointer, Goods.

Dr. Monica Bosnyak

Dr. Monica Bosnyak earned her veterinary degree from the University of Calgary. She was part of the first graduating class of 2012. She joined the Fort Saskatchewan Veterinary Clinic Ltd in May 2012 and has bought in as a partner with Dr. LaFrance in April of 2016.

She grew up knowing she always wanted to be a vet just like her grandfather. She has an interest in small animal orthopedics and dentistry and has focused her studies in those areas since graduating from Veterinary Medicine.

Beyond work, she enjoys spending time with her husband and children and doing agility/water trials with her Portuguese Water Dogs Micah, Aryeh, and Keziah. When she has the opportunity, she enjoys travelling and summiting mountains such as Kilimanjaro and Machu Picchu.

Dr. Evelyn Bushell

Dr. Evelyn Bushell was born and raised in Regina, Saskatchewan. She graduated from the Western College of Veterinary Medicine in 2017. She joined the Fort Saskatchewan team in Feb 2024. She has practiced small animal medicine in various clinics in Southern Ontario, and in Moose Jaw, SK. She shares her home with her husband, two children Carmen and Curtis, two dogs Callie (German Shepherd) and Mick (Australian Shepherd) and orange tabby cat Oscar. Evelyn has a special interest in dermatology and animal behaviour. In her spare time she enjoys hiking, scent work and agility with her dogs, and going on adventures with her two-legged family members.

Erin Butz, Registered Veterinary Technologist

Erin has been with the Fort Saskatchewan Veterinary Clinic Ltd since May of 2002. She currently works as a registered veterinary technologist and the office manager. Erin grew up on a farm in the Fort Saskatchewan area and has worked at the clinic since before graduating from the Registered Veterinary Technology program at NAIT in 2003. Erin now lives in the Fort with her husband and 3 children.

Ryley Patriquin, Registered Veterinary Technologist

Ryley graduated with distinction from the Animal Health Technology program at Lakeland College in 2020. She grew up on a beef farm near Thorhild and was involved in 4H for many years. She enjoys spending time with her shih tzu Annie and cats Churro, Bean & Phoebe, helping on the farm, crafting and reading.

Kory Einarson, Registered Veterinary Technologist

Kory began as a volunteer with the Fort Vet Clinic in 2006 as kennel staff. Loving the clinic, she graduated from the NAIT Animal Health Tech Program with honours in 2014. Since, she has dabbled in small animal medicine, emergency medicine, and even tried human medicine before returning to her true passion for animals. Kory keeps busy with her husband,  two little boys, two dogs, and cat. In her spare time she enjoys crafting, reading, and travelling.

Shaelan Clarkson, Registered Veterinary Technologist

Shaelan attended Lakeland Collage and graduated in 2019.  She has been working at the clinic since May 2021.  When not working, she can be found reading or exploring the great outdoors with her canine companion, Charlie Brown or her 2 horses.

Stefanie Goodvin, Registered Veterinary Technologist

Stefanie graduated from Animal Health Technology at Grande Prairie’s Regional College- Fairview campus in 2015.   She started at the Fort Saskatchewan Veterinary clinic in August of 2019.  Since that time, her and her husband have welcomed two children, Sloane and Steele, to their already busy household of one dog, Summit and two cats, Spooks and Sasquatch.

Jessica Welch, Receptionist

Jessica Welch is so pleased to have joined the Fort Saskatchewan Veterinary team and begin her career working with animals.  An animal lover since birth, Jessica loved helping wrangle horses and look after cattle on her grandparents farm and one day buy an acreage home for her Arabian Alphie, her dog Bruno and her cat Marble.

Jenn Marshall, Receptionist

Jenn moved to Alberta from the Northwest Territories in 2012 for school and graduated from the VMA program at Lakeland collage. After graduating she worked in the veterinary field in Calgary for a number of years before moving to Fort Saskatchewan in 2021 and joined the team. She enjoys travelling, escaping to the mountains whenever possible, and spending time with her basset hound Piper.

Kirsten Kulczycki, Receptionist

Kirsten was a former business owner of a hair salon before she and her husband moved to the beautiful community of Fort Saskatchewan. With her move, she was excited to try a different career path that allowed her to merge her love for animals and helping people. She enjoys long walks with her furry companion, Willow, and spending quality time with her family. She takes pleasure in crafting meaningful relationships with her community, and is committed to ensuring everyone who crosses her path feels valued and cared for.

Jennifer Banton, Receptionist

Jenn moved here from Medicine Hat in 2022 to be with her family, best decision ever made! She was so excited to get the opportunity to work at the Fort Saskatchewan Veterinary Clinic, as she has grown up with animals and been an animal lover her whole life. She spends a lot of time with her family and loves being outdoors. In her spare time, she enjoys traveling, camping and sports.

Mollie Harris, Weekend Staff

Mollie has worked with and trained dogs for many years and enjoys competing in dog agility competitions. She has three dogs Griffin, Maisy, and Picante who all compete in this sport. Mollie is a hopeful veterinarian and has been accepted into the animal sciences program for the fall 2021 semester.
